Anthony Kern

Anthony’s passion is to bring people closer to Jesus with every encounter.

Before serving in Hamilton, he ministered in Ottawa, Edmonton, Airdrie, and Beiseker, Alberta; planting churches and serving a number of cross-cultural and multi-generational communities.

Anthony is married to his high school sweetheart, Cassandra. Together they have three lovely daughters, Lydia, Amelia, and Arwen.

In his free time, Anthony enjoys having fun with his girls, trying out the latest food spots in the city with his spouse, reading, weight training, running, and playing other sports.

Simba Nyawiri

Simba is deeply committed to the work of the Lord Jesus, His Remnant Church and Present Truth. Growing up in the church, Simba was involved in Music Ministry from the age of 15, with his journey beginning with the renowned music groups ‘Shower Power’ and more current ‘Soul Influence’. It is his passion to serve the Lord through Music.

A family man, Simba is married to Pam and is a ‘girl dad’ to his daughters Ruva, Tasha & Mandipa. He enjoys acappella music, the outdoors, country living, and farming.

Simba continues working towards the hastening of the soon coming of the Saviour. Matt 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness then shall the end come.”

Dan Macesic

Elder Danny Macesic Sr. was baptized in the Mountain Church in the early 1980’s.

He is married to Sister Janie, and have two children, Dan jr. and Laura and two beautiful granddaughters. With a passion for community outreach, he constructed and managed the first vegan restaurant in Hamilton. Over the years, he has overseen various building projects throughout the church founded from his experience and career as an electrical contractor and general contractor, designing and constructing restaurants, stores and nursing homes across Canada.

As Health Ministry leader in 1997, he launched the first Vegetarian Food & Health Fair on the church premises which ran successfully for 20 plus years. Elder Danny’s church positions have included Head Elder, Building & Maintenance Leader, School Board Chair, and Sabbath School Co-ordinator and Teacher. He is currently serving as Elder and Building & Maintenance Leader. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
